Have no clue whether it is the best way, a good way, a so-so way, or perhaps it totally fails in teaching Morse Code.

That's okay, because the main goal is to introduce the topic and perhaps show that it can be fun to poke around with.

We do not collect personal information -- no names, no emails, no nothing.

Web 2.0 by its very nature is intrusive. This is just a game (or tool if you prefer) that let's one play around with Morse Code.

So we collect nothing. Google Analytics will tell us that someone visited this page. But, we won't necessarily know it was you.
